Collective Dreaming Workshop
It’s easy to settle into the difficult world we have now, because it’s hard to push ourselves to imagine anything beyond systems of capitalism and scarcity. But imagination is a powerful tool for change, and we can dip our toe gently into imagining a future we want to live in.
I wrote and facilitate a workshop on collective dreaming, encouraging participants to dream about the long, medium, and short-term future and making sure they align with one another. We spend 1.5 to 3 hours, working through imagining a world we want with journaling and discussion prompts, as well as offerings of readings, grounding exercises, and movement-building interpersonal connection.
Past partners include the University of Utah, the National Lawyer’s Guild, The People’s Forum NYC, The Urban Institute, TakeRoot Justice, and more.
